Where Community
&  First Responders Unite

"Connecting Those Who Serve with Those They Protect."

Our Mission

Banning United for Public Safety is dedicated to strengthening the bond between first responders and the community by creating positive engagement, communication and partnerships.

What We Do

“Engage. Connect. Protect.”

Community Events & Engagement

Community events and engagement are at the heart of a strong and connected Banning. By bringing residents and first responders together in positive, meaningful ways, we build trust, strengthen relationships, and create a shared commitment to public safety. Throughout the year, Banning United for Public Safety hosts a variety of events—including Community Day—designed to foster connection, open communication, and a sense of unity across our city. These moments of engagement help turn neighbors into partners and make Banning a safer place for everyone.

Uniting Banning for a Safer Tomorrow

Uniting Banning for a Safer Tomorrow is about more than a goal—it’s a shared responsibility. When residents, first responders, and community partners come together, we create a stronger, more connected city built on trust and collaboration. Banning United for Public Safety (BUPS) works to achieve this by fostering open communication, hosting community-driven events, and building partnerships that encourage engagement and understanding. Through these efforts, we are creating a safer, more united Banning for generations to come.

Awareness to Programs that Make an Impact

Creating awareness of programs that make an impact is essential to building a safer and more informed community. Banning United for Public Safety (BUPS) actively connects residents with valuable resources, initiatives, and services that support public safety and well-being. Through outreach, partnerships, and community engagement, we ensure that individuals and families know what’s available to them and how to get involved. By shining a light on these programs, we empower our community to take part in solutions that make a lasting difference.

Volunteer

Getting involved as a volunteer or member is a powerful way to make a difference in Banning. Banning United for Public Safety (BUPS) welcomes individuals who are passionate about strengthening community connections and supporting public safety efforts. Whether you’re helping at events, sharing resources, or building relationships with neighbors and first responders, your involvement plays a vital role. By joining BUPS, you become part of a collective effort to create a safer, more united community for everyone.

Bridging the Gap Between Service & Community

“Stronger Relationships. Safer Streets.”

“Stronger Relationships. Safer Streets.” reflects the reality that public safety starts with trust and connection. When residents and first responders know each other, communicate openly, and work together, it creates a sense of shared responsibility and mutual respect. These relationships lead to better understanding, quicker collaboration, and more effective solutions to community challenges. By investing in strong, positive connections, Banning United for Public Safety helps create an environment where people feel seen, supported, and safer—because a united community is a protected community.
